Hey Mom and Dad!

There’s a feast at the table in Heaven this year

Where there is no more sorrow, it is only full of cheer

Where our bodies are whole and so is our mind,

Focused on Christ who is definitely one of a kind

The angels are singing, the heavens rejoice

I met a lot of new friends, you would be proud of my choice

I know your heart hurts, you feel broken and bruised

Wishing I was there, and at home with you

But don’t weep for me that was never my home, a temporary gift, I was just on loan

I am truly at home now, my soul is at rest since I chose a savior, born in a manger. God gave me His best

The Lion, the Lamb, that was slain for my sin so I can sit a table this Christmas never to be broken again

Oh how I wish you were here with me, to hear the angels sing Happy Birthday, but there will be time for all of that soon

Eternity spent, we will dance and we will sing never to be separated again by sins sting

Until then, Mom and Dad, I know you are sad, but remember I was just there on loan so you could give me Jesus and I could go to my forever home.

Much love,

Chrissy
